Banshee and Exaile are failing me

They're both sucking rather a lot for me, I want to use something lighter than amarok, but both Banshee and Exaile cannot import my playlist. It's m3u, but they both just "let's do nothing" when trying to import it. Amarok can import it fine, why can't they?

Have you tried old XMMS?

Audacious works well, just doesn't have ipod support, but I haven't looked yet. Talk about lag when trying to move the window!!!

Songbird is also noteworthy.

Songbird is quite nice, just doesn't have multimedia keys. Goldilocks syndrome :P I'm gonna stick to audacious for now.
