Valve HL2 Linux Port Job Filled?

Sorry if this is a double post, as I couldn't find this same information in the forums. But for those who are interested, it seems that the article on Phoronix (http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=NjA1NQ) regarding the HL2 Linux port, it seems the job has disappeared from the valve website, indicating one of 2 things, the port is scrapped or the role is filled.

Anyone heard other news?

If you believe Michael, Valve is working on porting Steam to Linux. I'm on wait and see mode though. ;)

I would have to concur.

I would hold the possibility at a 60-40 right at the moment. Past performance of Michael's rumors (He does have quite a bit of inside knowlege...) indicate that there might actually BE an effort right at the moment and someone's been hired for the job to do it.

Don't expect something- because it can all still fall through.
