Hello, I am not sure where to post this. I guess this is related enough.

I wanted to also post to the nvnews forum but they require a non-web mail account and I share my internet access (use wireless) and don't have access to the ISP-provided email accounts (at the moment, anyway).

Anyway, here is the problem:
I installed Nvidia drivers in two Debian-based distros and I have an issue currently that I would like to ask about.

While examining my settings, I discovered that, in the OpenGL settings, my Image Settings slider only has two choices. The slider cursor or whatever it is called will only go to 'High Quality' or 'High Performance.'

Can anyone tell me what is happening here? When I initially went to the setting, it was somewhat in the middle on 'Quality' but that choice is now gone. Ever since, I tried to scroll the slider, it immediately goes to either one end or the other.

Is this a bug? I thought it would at least have four settings including Quality and Performance (to make a total of 4?).

I don't know if this is normal but it doesn't seem like it. I don't know if it is a bug or a result of a flaky install (of the driver).

I appreciate all replies, info and advice. Thanks in advance.

I would like to discover what's going on!

EDIT: Sorry, I figured it out. I have to hold down the left mouse button while scrolling. Sorry, I can't remove the post...
