Hi guys,
not sure if this goes under the ATI section, but here's my problem:
I'm running Debian 2.6.25 with the Catalyst 8.4 drivers (8.6 corrupted the whole screen). I can get the HDMI audio working as the ALSA device hw=1.0, but randomly when I start a movie with mplayer the sound is missing. Also, even if the movie starts with audio it will vanish if I rewind/forward during playback.
My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H
