ATI FireGL V8600 Fedora 9 install

Q from a newbie: I have an old NVIDIA graphics card on my Fedora (now 9) box, which is working well (compiz, etc.), albeit slowly. I just ordered an ATI FireGL V8600 card which should arrive in a couple of days. What steps (yum install, configuration) do I need to do to swap in the ATI card?
