can someone post an xorg.conf for 4870 (that works with compiz)

I've always owned nvidia (for obvious reasons) but with ati making recent strides, my new card is a 4870. (problem is, i tweaked my nvidia xorg over 3 years, so it was really good. my ati knowledge however, isn't that good)
i am currently using a skeleton xorg from the Arch Linux wiki, but compiz crashes on boot.

could one of you ati gurus post an super xorg with all the modules and tweaks for a 4870?

Go with the skeleton one, then do an "aticonfig --initial -f" to set up xorg.conf and fglrx's settings database (this should be part of the process of installing fglrx). If you still get crashes, the problem is probably elsewhere.
