I look forward to seeing what the go-oo folks put out soon!
...why do distros still ship the Sun-controlled version? Is this a branding thing like firefox?

I haven't pulled it down yet, however has anyone out there found out if they fixed the visual artifacts that occur in OOo with compositing (KDE4) and nvidia cards?

Cheers.
