ATI Catalyst 8.10 Beta for Ubuntu on other distros

is there any way to make it work on other distros??

i think "released" 8.10 version does not support xorg-server 1.5; does this "ubuntu beta version" works with server 1.5???

can i make it work on my gentoo box???

please I need to get rid of radeon xorg driver...

no one??? ATI Deserve their users...


1.- downloaded the .deb packages
2.- recreated their structure in a temp folder
3.- replaced binary files
4.- compiled kernel module
5.- placed manually in /lib/module my fglrx.ko
6.- restared
7.- voila!
