Hello

I am looking for a wireless router that supports IEEE 802.11n (draft) and gigabit ethernet. Well, there are some. But I want two more things: the router firmware must be free (as in speech) and it must be possible to flash the device with something like OpenWrt excluding any non-free software, but still with full functionality. Maybe there is a device that works with ath9k or otus?

I'm thinking you could use something like lifehacker?
I haven't used it myself, but have heard it's good.
However I'm not sure if it meets your second criteria ... working with OpenWrt. You'd have to check that one out.
cheers. Will

Try untangle. They have one that downloads and makes a bootable linux cd and installs to pretty modest hardware.
