Phoronix: Fedora 11 Hits A Last Minute Delay, June Release

Red Hat's Jesse Keating has shared on the Fedora announcement list that Fedora 11 will not be released in May as originally intended. Due to 24 bugs at present on the Fedora 11 bug tracker, they have postponed the release from the 26th of May to the 2nd of June. This one week delay will hopefully allow Fedora / Red Hat developers to address the remaining critical bugs with this next Fedora release...

Impressive if they can fix 24 bugs in 7 days!

Just look at the names of the bug reports.

Pretty tough bugs.

Hmmm, personally, I think that although the Fedora devs are experts, the fesco folks are completely incompetent. The delay is probably caused by one of them being impacted by one of the bugs, or their dad's laptop, or something like that.
