I watched HoN on facebook all the time, but unfortunately I missed the key there.

I currently play Savage 1 (with excellent XR mod), Savage 2 and DoTA too, because it all runs well on 64-bit Linux, so I am really curious about this new and completely native (on Linux) S2 game and I hope I can help with testing and reporting.

Thank-you for the offer to test and to promote you line f software for the Linux machines. I have been building and fooling around with computers since the mid-seventies and my current mission is to promote Linux to high-school and college. The number one sticking point with this age group is the very limited access to main-line computer games.

Here's hoping that I qualify nut no matter which way this goes, thank-you for Your efforts in the Gamers Market.

I'd love to be able to beta test this. I have tried Wine and Cedega before but would love to see more games come out in a linux port. It would definitely allow me to not have to dual boot anymore.

Whoa this is great! I'm always biting my nails off when there are beta's going on not available for linux. (quake live, battlefield heroes)

It's really about time developers are going to see that linux is a great gaming platform. The way it is now makes me go into a corner and cry.

I really enjoy gaming on my Arch linux box and Ubuntu box, stuff like Unreal tournament and Neverwinter nights are a daily thing almost.

Slack 12.2 user here, huge DOTA fan. Play DOTA in wine all the time, and I'd love to test out HoN on my slack box.

I'd really like to see S2 succeed with this game, as I hope it will be able to let the other publishers know we linux gamers are here. Gaming is the only reason I keep Windows around, as some titles just wont work even in Wine.

Speaking of HoN, I'm hoping that it has great stat tracking and something to work around leavers. Leavers ruin so many games in DOTA, and makes pub games almost impossible.

Please give me a key! I have two computers running linux, one of them has an Nvidia board, and the other with integrated intel. I want to help generate interest in the improvement of open source drivers, and I think bringing games to linux is the chicken to the egg. Native linux games lets people play for cheaper, they can spend the money they would have spent on windows on more games!

Also, I think more game developers need to get away from directx and other tools tied to one platform, so I will support those who do. Since I am interested in game design myself, it makes sense to me to write portable code and deploy on lots of platforms to get the most $$, and I think others should feel the same way in an ideal world.

Hi, I saw a few videos about this game. It looks great, but the only machine Ive got 24/7 to play its a notebook with an onboard ati HD3200.

I can barely play Quake 4 with it. Other older games runs mostly fine. Ive also play Savage 2, but its a bit unstable with my ati on Ubuntu Jaunty x64.

Either way, will also like a beta key, like the others on this thread to find out if the game can run over tiny hardware.

I played savage 2 for a while. Their port from windows to linux was fantastic and their patch turn-around was also fabulous. I would love to beta test their next offering, as well as hopefully give some design input.

I've been playing DoTA off and on since War3's Reign of Chaos, and have also entered into several different tournaments, leading a team placing in the top 3.

I'll take a beta key. Unfortunately I can't use this on my Radeon 4850 rig because I'm using the open source ati driver. But I can test this out on some other hardware that isn't as good for gaming.

Should be a good test for xf86-video-intel-2.8 on a GMA X4500HD. :D

I am always eager to support companies that release games for Linux, as WINE, while an excellent project, requires far too much jumping through hoops. In fact, I find myself trying games that I normally wouldn't simply because of the novelty of them running on linux. It's good to see someone sense the market opportunity.

Wow! I am a brand new Linux convert, and I really love the system. In fact, I love Linux so much that I was even able to switch my job from "Part-Time Windows Administrator" to "Part-Time Linux Administrator". Having switched from windows, I can say that my gaming experiences with wine have been less than satisfactory, and I would like to try a linux-native game on my machine. After all, i built it for gaming.

Another native game means less booting into windows! I would like to add my name to the list for a beta key.

Well, now that thread has grown a lot. M'kay.

So I have already done game beta testing under NDA conditions and since I still received invitations for more from that enterprise and they gifted me afterwards it must've been quite ok work I did for them.

But I know that I hardly have time for these 8h/day testings since I do prepare my very Ph.D. work and that's very stressing. Still I'd like to show my support for Linux gaming. I'm having Gentoo on x86 and amd64, if neccessary I could probably also use any other distribution.
