With GNOME 2.28 having been released last month, all efforts are focusing on GNOME 3.0, which is the first major overhaul of this Linux desktop environment in years. Two of the key components to the GNOME 3.0 desktop are Mutter, the new window/compositing manager, and GNOME Shell, the shell for how a user interacts with the desktop...

No GNOME 3.0 will have a special USB device that connects to your brain and you can see any file on your hard disk just by thinking about it.

I hoped they get rid of the slow Nautilus.

I think it uses OpenCortexLayer to program your visual cortex directly, driver support is expected to be complete in currentversion+1 or you can try the binary drivers, which are either great but mess with way to much stuff in your head or will give you a splitting headache depending on what flavor you get. :p

...if they decide to. They might as well post pone 3.0 to next October.
