View Full Version : Email notification doesn't work for me

Hi Admins,

I never receive any notification email of my subscripted threads. My email address is correct and I have the "instant notification email" activated.
What else can I try? Where is the problem?

Could somebody please tell me if the email-notification works for him/her?
Am I the only one without working email-notification?

It works fine here and I've never heard of anyone else running into issues with it.

Thank you for the response. So, I'm the only one with this problem.

Now, who should I write an email to? Who is the Ueberadmin?
In the worst case I just have to open a new account?

I am the admin. Try creating a new account and see if it works there.

Before I could register a new name with my email address, I had to change the email address of the old account. Instantly the old account received notification emails...

So it seems to be a problem of my spam filter - I didn't even know exists.

I managed to check the spam filter and talk to our mail server admin.
The notification emails were not blocked by the spam filters. So, it seems that the emails were refused beforehand by the mail server. But to check what really happened one had to read the log of the forum software - if the notification email was returned.
