Infortrend EonStor U12U-G4010



Description: RAID storage subsystem. This system has 2 (2) 320 MB/sec SCSI host channels and is able to support up to twelve (12), hot-swappable, SCSI-320 hard drive in a 2U profile. Three (3) hot-swappable cooling modules protect the subsystem from over heating,and two (2) hot-swappable power supply unit (PSU) are included.
Hardware Notes: This subsystem has also a 512 MB battery backup unit in case of power lost/surge. Supports RAID levels : 0, 1(0 + 1), 4, 5, 10, 30, 50, JBOD, and non-RAID disk spanning. "Spare" disk can be managed automatically by the system.

Software
Extensive configuration and monitoring can be done by using "RaidWatch"; which needs a JAVA based browser.

Installation
Installed on a Debian Sarge without any problem; as any usual SCSI disk.
