What do you mean by better? amdcccle is Qt based, which may explain why.

If you have both DE's installed, open it up in both. It matches your current QT theme in KDE, but looks unthemed in Gnome.

Michael's answer is right on the target. CCC being Qt-based makes it easily more compatible with KDE than Gnome.
