Phoronix: Phoronix To Cover KDE 4.0 Release Event
Next January at the Googleplex will be a KDE 4.0 release event to commemorate this major desktop release. This KDE event includes parties, BoFs, and other discussions about KDE.

Looking forward to it (and to see our Gnomes switch to the *better Desktop Environment* [what did you say? I am a KDE fanboy?]).

I haven't decided yet if I dare run GNOME on any of my notebooks at the event. I may try to survive on KDE for a few days and hopefully not go too nuts :) Though perhaps KDE 4.0 will be a nice compliment to GNOME 2.20.

Yeah :D Official invites even get their hotel rooms paid for by Google (and it just so happens that it's at one of my favorite hotels in the Valley!).
