Is there any chance for real-time kernel support?

I use these kernel patches (http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/) on one of my systems but not the other because the fglrx driver doesn't support it. Is there any chance of this being supported?

Or is there a driver patch out there that works?
