Phoronix: 2nd Linux Foundation Summit In Texas

Amanda McPherson, the Marketing Director of the Linux Foundation, has just notified those who participated in the first-ever Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit that the next summit is planned for April. Back during the first LF Collaboration Summit, the expectation is that the next summit would be in March at a German location.

Is something like this open to members of the Linux Foundation only (on any level), or are some portions of this open to the public as well? Being in Texas, the location for this is very convenient.

The first one was open to media, LF members, and other key members of the Linux community, though they did have a registration/application process where if you were representing a company or some area of Linux that you could get in... The room at Google was just sufficient for about ~100 people, but I am not sure how much room IBM has in Texas. Hopefully more and hopefully there you don't need an escort for wherever you go on campus, compared to Google. It was definitely a great time though.
