3D in radionHD is still some months away.

From what I'm reading here, the 2600 AGP card is causing a lot of people difficulty (devs and users alike).

Some months away for non-beta quality 3D, but I don't expect initial 3D to be that far out now :)

It's up to the radeonhd devs, but I imagine you will see the next version at the end of the 2d effort, while 3d work is happening but not in a releaseable form. We're aiming to have some 3d functionality out there in the next couple of months, depending on how many of the folks who work on pre-5xx 3d mesa are able to help. If it's just a couple of devs doing all the work, 3d might take longer.

We haven't released support for it yet, so lots of difficulty for users in the short term. We're going to update the release notes to make that more clear.
