View Full Version : Radeon driver drops R128 and Mach64 support?

I've seen that in xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati git there's drop for r128 and mach64 support.
Radeon developers, please don't do that!
I've got hardware (laptops) with such graphic cards (both r128 and mach64) on which I use todays distros and I'd like to use it later, too.

Sorry, I've been too quick to post this message.
Now I saw there's split of ATI drivers.
R128 and Mach64 are the separate drivers now.

r128 and mach64 have been separate drivers (from each other and from 'radeon' since day 1). There has, however, been some talk about merging r128 into the radeon driver as it's very similar to the r100 cards.

You can seperate those, but please let "ati" driver autoselect em.
