Hi All,

Like in the subject, putting:

SAVE_VBE_STATE=false
POST_VIDEO=false
USE_DPMS=false
RADEON_LIGHT=true
ENABLE_LAPTOP_MODE=true

in /etc/default/acpi-support does not help. Non-working suspend makes the driver completely unusable so I would greatly appreciate any hints before reverting to the radeon driver.

Less importantly, the Xv overlay does not work properly. When I play a video (VLC/Totem) the window is black unless I move it a bit. It, then, goes back to normal but ff/rewinding blacks it out again.

Cheers,
Jakub

Could be the kernel. I had suspend and hibernate working with the 2.6.23.15 kernel, while suspend failed after updating to 2.6.24.3. So I went back to the earlier version.

Hi,
I can't wake up from suspend if I have/had Compiz enabled before suspend. However if Compiz was not started at least once after X started and before suspending, then suspend works normally.
