AMD 8.42.3 and HD38XX series

Hey all, I own a HD3850 PCI-Express card.
I recently tried out debian, and I installed the 8.42.3 drivers.
Everything seems to work ok, but I still get Video Tearing.
Is there a way to fix that?

P.S For people saying that it's a known issue, etc..etc.. I honestly couldn't find a topic about hd3850 and video tearing. Only 2900 etc..

If you upgrade to the latest driver (Catalyst 8.3) you should see a significant reduction in tearing.

All of the HD2xxx and HD3xxx products use pretty much the same code for video rendering.
