I got 8.4 installed on 'ubuntu 7.10', but screensavers are all slow. What must I do to get them working smoother?
When I tested the 8.3 driver last month on a IDE drive the screensavers worked fine, but on a SATA2 drive (my main drive) the screensavers are all slow. So I ended up reinstalling the basic driver and waited till 8.4 driver (but the same). Whats up with that?
Only been using ubuntu for about 3 months. Got the 690V and SB600 Chipset (x1200)
