What exactly do you need this for? A place where you might want to start is here (http://www.users.on.net/%7Ergarth/weblog/fedora/patch_cd.html?seemore=y), though it guides you through building an updated DVD, you could easily remove the appropriate non-dependent packages at that step. If you have more details as to what exactly your goals are, I can probably help you out.

Hello Michael

Well, i'm actually trying to come up with a minimal Linux distribution inbuilt with an Image Server, Post-Gre Sql & PostGIS... In addition, it needs to have a File manager, a Desktop Manager & Apache Webserver....

well i want to start off with these & then add other applications as per requirement.

Also, the Maximum size of the whole setup should not exceed One CD... Your suggestions & ideas are solicited.

regards

Michael

Had you tried checking out Berry Linux? It's based on Fedora Core, and is one single CD, though you will need to then drop in Apache and some other packages that were removed.
