In my opinion is an advantage, is more difficult to receive a buggy driver , because this was tested on the beta releases of mac osx.

There are only for macpro, and are so unstable( nobody use this)

osx ships a nvidia drivers only with the new releases, but I think that is an advantage, no experimental drivers, only stable.

What I mean, is that neither gnome nor unity are two desks that can attract a mac user, or are better than the mac desktop, there are so unfryendly...
