Does it support 4.16? I do wish Nvidia put the compatible kernel versions in their release notes..

Is that full support for modifiers (DRI 3.2)? Or just works with Xorg Server 1.20 without the new features?

No, the 396 branch does not fix the overhead issues introduced with 390.

I've been using the 396.24 driver with Kubuntu 18.04 for a couple of weeks now - everything seems to be working just fine. Haven't had any problems, everything feels rock solid.
