Intel has been developing a new Media Driver for the Video Acceleration API (VA-API) geared for Icelake "Gen 11" graphics hardware and future generations. so, ahh, Michael what's the encode/decode performance like on this new va-api driver compared to the existing va-api driver?

I am hoping to see some perf vs power used vs cpu utilisation on any selection of Intel CPU's you can to run it against!
