    NVIDIA VDPAU usage under EGL
Funny thing here, this doesn't actually work with the Nvidia driver, only with Mesa drivers, so AMD basically. Nvidia doesn't expose the vdpau_interop extension under EGL, only under GLX. So on Nvidia, you have to specify --gpu-context=x11 for VDPAU to work (the x11egl context is default).

I don't know if I'm misremembering, but I thought the main dev for mpv was heavily against implementing CSD for Wayland?

Judging by the description, I get the impression they just requested a slightly bigger window and repurposed part of the OSD-style control console code to generate things that are the bare minimum that can be called "pseudo-CSD". (Hence the "pseudo-". No effort to match the desktop or anything... just clickable somethings.)

Celluloid (GNOME MPV) might be a better frontend.

                    It breaks --video-sync=display-resample on Wayland.
