For months we have seen various Intel open-source Linux graphics driver patches that begin preparing for multi-GPU support where in moving forward with their Xe graphics cards there could be the iGPU + dGPU setup or even multiple Xe graphics cards in a single system. So far those Intel Linux multi-GPU preparations have been focused on their kernel-space driver while now it's reaching into user-space with their Vulkan driver seeing early infrastructure changes...

Well, since Intel poached AMD's chief architect Raja Koduri and built their cards off of AMD's technology I have no doubt their new graphics card will be quite good.

But since Intel is such a slimy company, who spent decades financially raping consumers whenever they could, I'll never buy anything from them.

Speaking of Vulkan and multiple GPUs on Linux, if I put an AMD and a Nvidia card can Vulkan run them in parallel from inside one application (if the application is designed properly)?

Bad karma for Raja Koduri: he left AMD when the stock was at 10. It's now at 50. He must have lost an absolute fortune on his stock options if they were replaced with Intel ones which have hardly moved.

Vulkan apps can query all GPUs in the system that support vulkan and schedule work across them as they see fit.

Right, but the Intel support is only about having multiple GPUs (as of now), not about using them as part of the same rendering pipeline.
