    Hmm, Intel is funny company. First they propose bloated and overengineered wintel-minded UEFI crap boasting all kinds of nightmares one can have in boot firmware. Then they suddenly spot it slow like hell to boot, being virtually whole OS on its own. Then they offer stop using it at least somewhere. Next logical step would be to ditch this horror out of "cold" HW boot sequence as well. And if someone really wants bootloader/boot firmware to be OS, I guess Linux can do it much better anyway
