      Oh well, serves them macOS users right once they realize just how much more games will be able to run on the Steam Deck & SteamOS moving forward!

            I think it's more that they wanted to create obstacles in porting between Apple and other platforms.

            That said, I think Metal is supposedly easier to use than Vulkan. To use a crude analogy, if Vulkan is like assembly language, then Metal would be like C and OpenGL would be like Fortran.
