      The owner of the system is not trusted? I wouldn't call it a "personal computer" if it doesn't trust its owner.

          The idea here is that we (the good guy), don't trust administrator (the bad guy). This scenario is relevant when you deploy your software and data in the cloud. Here you don't want cloud admins to be able to take your sensitive data. A very useful property.
