Man, this PE conversion work has been going on for a while. I remember reading at least two years ago that the code churn it was causing was a big reason POWER9 support was hard to upstream into hangover.

The PE conversion is almost done, - there are just some two to four remaining "fake PE" modules. One of them is Gallium Nine, but that one is effectively not directly part of Wine although it can be very useful.
