Just tried it out, now sway segfaults when I run swaylock :/

Otherwise, this is good news, nice to see a Christmas release. Happy Christmas everyone!

using sway for many years with `xwayland disable`, it is best experience I had with Linux Desktop, I had doubt about Vulkan renderer but it is working pretty well too, only problem is lot of distro installs lot of xorg baggage when installing sway

Yeah this year things really got solid. I just wish firefox popup menus stopped glitching... It's been a recurring problem in many distros.

It is a problem with firefox itself, their popup implementation is very hacky and there are constant breakages and regressions. There's a dedicated issue tracker just for popups in wayland: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1633989

Anyone using proprietary Nvidia with Sway ? I tried it some 6 months ago and it was glitchy to say the least, but now there's official Wayland support in Blender so things sounds like it's getting better.

I myself rely on xwayland for convient launching of root applications lol
