Wayland isn't even in the main highlights of the announcement because nobody important cares. Why must Michael be so biased? Beyond cringe.

Does anyone one know when the PE work will be usable enough to compile wine with --enable-archs and still be able to play most 32 bit games?

Michael writes stories based on what gets him money, which is mainly based on views and comments. If you want him to stop talking about Wayland, the main thing you can do is to stop reading those articles and stop commenting on them.

Wayland has been one of the biggest things happening in desktop linux perpetually for the last 5 years. Obviously wine supporting it is important and people care about it.
