Still waiting on bcachefs to be mainlined. I've gotten really good at building my own isos and installing from chroot but man it would be nice if I could just use a normal GUI installer and yolo it.

Yeah it's some odd forum bug around the mailbox issue... In any case yes that MR has been part of my planned writing queue for Monday, thanks though. On the weekend when readership is down I somewhat limit the number of articles I write to avoid many users missing out on posts among all the weekend content otherwise.

Just tested Cyberpunk 2077 with and without that change. No real performance impact on ray tracing. I guess it's not the affected use case.

Don't forget Stephen Rothwell, he seems the linux-next maintainer. There's high hopes of being merged, just some common signed-off issues and it may be merged
