    It's a bit sad to see a new PA release when it's clearly been given the boot by most of the desktop distros. She's been good to us PA, but it's time to move on.

      On the contrary, it's wonderful to see people working on whatever the fuck they want to when it is free and open source software. What is sad is when people complain about software they don't care for as if anyone is forcing them to use it.

        Still using Pulseaudio since it's really solid for daily use. I'm glad I helped solve this bug affecting the sample rate with some DACs:
        Summary It looks like avoid-resampling = yes is completely ignored by Pulseaudio 16. The hardware will not play other...

        It's now upstream in version 17.

            Yes, the ones that I use, MPV and QmPlay2 are pipewire native

                Nope still too early, PulseAudio works on the console without X or Wayland running, pipewire still cannot do that without problems.
