Phoronix: PTS Bardu Makes Its Alpha Debut
Just in time for our extensive benchmarking of Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" operating system tomorrow, we have christened the first alpha release of Phoronix Test Suite 2.2 (codenamed "Bardu"). Laid out a few days ago were some of the Phoronix Test Suite 2.2 features that are already implemented like the ability to recover from test runs (when the system crashes or fails), support for different command-line interfaces, anonymous usage reporting / statistics, and a number of new test profiles.The first alpha for 2.2 Bardu also has the usual assortment of bug fixes and the introduction of some smaller features...
