Does this patch fix the Hangcheck timer problem?

So does this patch fix the Hangcheck timer issue? I've been getting this message hundreds of times per day on my Natty box (H67 i5-2500K):

[drm:i915_hangcheck_ring_idle] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... blt ring idle...[continued]

All my attempts to startup an OpenGL game have been fruitless :-(

see this Phoronix article. Solved this issue for me.

Edit /etc/default/grub, add i915.semaphores=1 to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT, run update-grub and reboot.
