    Misreporting again, Michael! It quite clearly says drm/i915, not the whole of Intel DRM. This is obviously a significant difference.

      I think the i915 part is the name of the intel DRM driver. so they are the same from the point of view of the drm.

        Sorry, you're right, I was confused and overreacted. In the kernel, it does indeed all fall under drm/i915. It's Mesa that has different names.
