    Phoronix: Google Using OpenMoko For gPhone?

    There has been a new batch of rumors swirling about Google producing a "gPhone" mobile telephone after a Reuters reporter stated High Tech Computer Corp would be designing the Linux phone for Google. A friendly penguin has told us at Phoronix that Google is looking to team up with OpenMoko for their "gPhone".

    I'm looking to get one of these cool phones... not sure if I should wait for Google to release more information on their upcoming phone or just buy the current Openmoko though.

      that would be perfectly reasonable decision of google - why design a new hardware, while there's already one? and open.

      well, let's wait and see if that actually happens.
