      Not sure what 'written in plain C' has to do with building heaven o_O 'no external deps' sure, definitely nice for compiling.

        I don't know, probably just personal biased opinion. It probably rather falls under "usage heaven" now that I think about it.

          You haven't tried to build something written in $LANGUAGE_OF_THE_WEEK I see

          It may have "no external deps" but if getting just that language's compiler is a pain...
