    This would be great is GPUs manufacturers would allow us to access CEC bus. This would be much nicer than buying an extra adapter.

      Some Intel mainboards do a bit better.
      They have a header called "Custom" which has a HDMI_CEC routed to it. http://www.intel.com/support/motherb.../CS-033841.htm
      This is a small step forward.
      But it would be better when the videocard supports this option like most ARM processors do.

        The libCEC support on the Raspberry Pi is great. One remote for the Pi, my Yamaha receiver, and my Panasonic TV (the Yamaha remote tends to have the best buttons).
