    Does "ending of support for DirectX 9 era hardware" mean that it will no longer run on Mesa which only has OpenGL 3.3 at the moment?

      I take it games based on this release will not work under wine anymore? That's too bad.

        DirectX 9 == OpenGL 2
        DirectX 10 == OpenGL 3
        DirectX 11 == OpenGL 4
        And when using OpenGL renderer they already required 3.2 so this news really is just about Windows and the DirectX 9 renderer.
