    What is Plasma Active?

Plasma Active a next-gen buzzword compliant project replacing Plasma Passive, which is intended for all types of tablets, smartphones and touch computing devices such as settop boxes, smart TVs, home automation or in-vehicle infotainment. It also fights cancer. If it doesn't sound to you like a soup of PR statements, make up your own definition.

I'm waiting for some decent Wayland capable tablet without libhybris need (may be Nvidia shield)?

Do any of them allow unlocking the bootloader, and have (preferably open) drivers for touchscreen, WiFi, accelerometer and etc? GPU is only part of the issues which need to be resolved in order to turn the tablet into a useful device.
