    QtWayland still incomplete? GTK3 has Wayland backend from a long time now. Can't wait, it will be great to see Qt working on Wayland.

      New developments like libinput obviously have to be supported by both toolkits?

        This is childish. The Wayland gtk3 backend even now isn't good enough for me, and "a long time ago" it was pure shit.
        When Wayland's xdg-shell is complete that's when one should bother aiming for full Wayland support, until then you can't create a toolkit on Wayland with all the needed desktop features.

        But yes, Qt5 on this matter is behind Gtk3.
