KDE developers are so terrified of pulling another KDE 4.0, they have created a huge mess out of KDE SC 5.x / KF 5.x / Plasma 5.x, making it almost impossible to test the new code.
Hopefully 2015 will see a sane and coherent KDE SC 4.x -> 5.x upgrade strategy.

Did you mean that we who run plasma5 for testing purposes don't actually exist? Good to know

I never said people don't test KF5/P5/KAPP5, I said:
1. Huge mess: Far too many component with different release schedule. (I frequent a number of KDE FF/P/KAPP 5.X packager MLs and they having major difficulties getting the thing packaged and working - far more than SC 4.x).
2. Upgrade strategy: Major applications are still at Qt4, unknown - at least according to techbase - when SC 5.x (as a all) will user consumable.
2.1. Time to reintroduce KDE SC 5.x, sync the release schedule and stop driving down-stream developers crazy.
Now, if you have something informative to contribute, please do. Being cynical only makes you look like an idiot.
