Phoronix: Kubuntu 15.04 Is Turning Out Quite Nice, Good Way To Try Out The Latest KDE Expe

With the Kubuntu 15.04 release due out in April it's using the Plasma 5 desktop by default. This morning I tried out the latest daily ISO snapshot of Kubuntu 15.04 to see how this bleeding-edge KDE Linux desktop experience is panning out. Simply put, Kubuntu and the latest KDE experience is doing quite well.

Yes. I don't think you can found more bloated one.

But it might not be, probably depends on user.

You'd be surprised, right now (Plasma 5,) I'd say it is probably lighter weight than Unity.

In my vocabulary: Unity is not a DE - it is Ubuntu shit.

Too, Gnome is also not a DE - it is Red Hat shit

Depends what "good looking" means to you and how much is enough for you so that DE can be in "light weight" category ?

All are good for you then, it might depend on distro and how much things are bloated on that particular one.
