Phoronix: It's Been Three Years Since Linus Torvalds' Huge NVIDIA Rant

It's been three years since Linus Torvalds did his very public shaming of NVIDIA over their Linux support and called them the worst company he ever dealt with, gave them the finger, etc...

Nvidia, performance-wise, is hands-down the best on Linux. AMD has always been buggy, but at least they are working with the community. Intel is ALL open-source as far as I know, but their hardware lacks the power to compete with the two formers. What do run? Matrox? haha.

nVidia's ethernet driver for the adapter included in nforce2. I sure do. I only used for a desktop internet connection though and it seemed fine by the time I needed it.

Intel in the future also will require binary firmware blobs for their graphics hardware
