    Funny guys. Skylake not considered preliminary... Lol. I consider the whole intel dri/x userland to be preliminary in all aspects.
    How about getting current generation stable?
    Just take a look at the web with the issues people are having with Broadwell. It's not like they scarce in any aspect.

        If you mean the microcode, then of course. There is no alternative aside from including the Intel uop assembly code into the kernel source tree itself, which would never be accepted as a patch patch anyways, especially since there is no publicly available software available to even assemble it, much less any desire for maintainers to have various assembly languages hanging out in every driver, creating a gigantic mess of dependencies.
